I asked him for a price on the NH 758C backhoe. His response was $7,000...

I asked him where it was made, etc.., and he told me bradco makes them for NH! He is also a Woods dealer and told me the NH/Bradco is a superior implement. I believe that a Bradco would be...just didn't know they made the NH models.

I'm curious if others know if Bradco is the mfg source, or if I was told something in error.

The NH backhoes in past recent years were made by Rhino.
By the looks of the pictures and specs at the NH website they still appear to be Rhino backhoes to me.
The NH 758c is the same hoe as the Rhino 85.

Your dealer is wrong; tell him to go learn his product line thoroughly :) I'd be embarrassed as heck if I was caught out and my customer knew more about the product than I did.

Vince is correct; if you're looking for a website with specifications, go to:

Alamo - SMC

Dealer cost on a 759C is about $6500 or so with the program discount; $7000 on a 758C seems a little high to me. I've had a 759C NH/Rhino/SMC hoe for seven years now and have been happy with them on most counts.

I've had a NH 756c for 4 years. Been a great little digger. It looks almost exactly like the 65A on the website.

Kubotasrking,

I have a TC55DA and purchased a Woods BH-90X BH for it and I love it. I had asked a couple of NH dealers about pricing on the 759C and they shot a real high price from the hip of about 10-12k. I probably got shafted but I paid 10k for mine with the subframe, mounted and the optional thumb. If I got a bad deal then at least i'm happy with getting a good product. So far it's already been worth half the cost. I love having a BH.

Why did you buy the Woods? Did you look at Bush Hog, Bradco, etc.?

I researched a bit on the net and compared stats.....My final decision was two-fold.

1. I had a Woods dealer local and handy.
2. I honestly liked the "looks" and feel of the new Woods.

If it hadn't been for the new style of the woods I would have seriously considered looking a bit longer.
