Just finished mowing with my RC and was heading back to park the tractor when the left side cat 1 pin came off. Pretty silly as I had just cleaned, lubricated and painted the RC but apparently to stupid to check the nuts to see if they were tight. Lesson learned, but now I have a badly bent 5' support bar. The bar is one of two that runs from the top link pin connection to the back of the deck. Should I just bang it straight or heat it up first?

Can you post a picture?
Generally I'm all for sledge hammer work, but I let my helper do that kind of work now a days.

The brace you see on the left hand side bolted next to the gear box is bent almost 90-degress with a slight twist. I live 50 miles from where I keep the tractor so no actual photo.

I would just bend it straight with NO heat.

Great! Saves me having to load and haul my tanks. Thanks.
