Attaching a brush/mower - TS1610

I finally got the photo of my lift arm setup. The turnbuckle does a good job of keeping the arm away from the tire. Both sides are the same. You will also see the free running clutch on the PTO shaft.

Dasfaust,
I took another look at your photos. I think someone has not connected your lift arms correctly. The front pivot points should be under the rear axle, not on the framework that surrounds the PTO. If you look at the photo I posted the front arm pivots are on brackets that share mounting bolts with the fenders. It looks like your setup places the implement about 6" back from where it should be. No wonder the front end comes off the ground. In addition the lifting arms (I'm running out of terms) should be attached near the rear of the lift arms. It looks like yours are attached to the center bolt holes where the turnbuckle attaches. You must have a strong hydraulic system to be able to lift the brush cutter, because you are at a great mechanical disadvantage.

JWSCOTT, where did you get the free running clutch for your tractor?
Did you have to buy a shorter shaft for your mower to work?

Sorry, did not mean to hijack the thread.

Instructions are provided for the correct hook up. This is for a Yanmar, but description and layout is the same.

I bought it from AgWest in Fresno, Ca online a couple of years ago. I've tried to get on their web site recently, but can't seem to find the same online store, maybe they are no longer in business. Maybe someone else might know.

I forgot to answer the question about the PTO shaft. No, someone had already taken care of that for the Howse mower since it came with the tractor. I did have to shorten the PTO for my wood chipper.
