attaching rear bagger on z-force 44

I have a question that my dealer or cub cadet can't answer. Does anyone know if you leave the original deck chute on the mower deck, lift it up and attach the hanger bracket on the bagger chute to the hinge. Mechanically it works, it just looks weird to see the deck discharge chute sticking straight up. Of course the manual makes it look like the cutting deck chute is taken off prior to attaching the bagger chute, but I tried that and there is no way to then hang the bagger chute. Thanks for the help.

When I attach the bagger chute to my 3235 54 inch deck, the original discharge chute sticks up in the air. That's the way it came from the dealer brand new.
