Attachment kick stand

I wasn't sure what else to call them. I found these a my local trailer parts store. I paid $35 for a pair. I bought them for a different project that didn't work out. I had been looking for a good way to make stands for some of my attachments. These fold up out of the way. They lock in either position. When they are down they extend from 12" to 19" . If you look on ebay under stabilizer jacks they make them in different lengths.

I have busted off two kick stands by forgetting to raise them when I took off. don't have to have a full set of brains to run a tractor I guess:laughing: since I put my implements in the same spot all the time I have a 4x4 cut to the right hieght that way when I drive off I don't break anything

I welded on a trailer jack from harbor freight on my rear blade. Swings out of the way when connected. Since I don't have a quick hitch I have to get off the tractor to attach the blade so I don't forget to swing the jack too!

Those look like the stands I had on an old crank-up camper in the past. Mine would let you jack the camper up, using a steel rod for an handle.

If anyone is looking for something similar, you probably could find them at a RV supply place, or order them from a RV supply house.

Looks good, they look like the stands for the back of trailers, so the tongue doesn't rise when you drive on the ramps.

That's what I did on my rake and back blade. Made it easy to inch it up or down when needed while hooking up. but now I have HTL with quick hitch so I don't need the incremental movement. still works fine but so would any pipe or stand.

These are the type that can swing up or just come off, a short section of tube is welded on.

You won't get ONE decent trailer tonque jack around here for $30, but I do have a couple of old campers out back. Gonna take a look at them tomorrow as I have a couple of light trailers that are just crying for tonque jacks that will fold easy....
