I know that ground engaging equipment voids my warranty. I would like to know what attachments will fit my 1046 for when the warranty expires. Also, I have a chance to buy a used snowthrower from a 2140. Will it fit?

The 2000 series snowthrower will not fit your 1046. The 1046 uses quick attach type accs.

Click the 'attachment' tab towards the bottom of any of the 1000 series pages listed on the CC website. There are push blades, snowthrowers, etc.. specifically for the 1000's. Anything else will likely take some modification to work.
