Those of you that own a 3510 and possibly a 4110 need to check the fuel line that runs from the fuel pump to the injector pump on the right side of the engine. It is a 5/16" ID rubber, single layer fuel line about 6"-8" long that attaches to the injector pump next to the injector pump bleed valve. Mine developed a leak today while mowing and saturated the right side of the engine with diesel fuel. I smelled a very strong fuel odor and noticed a haze of smoke coming from under the hood. There was no other indication of a fuel problem (missing or stalling). I was lucky it didn't catch fire and was glad the exhaust manifold was on the other side of the engine. I replaced the hose with a nylon reinforced double layer fuel line and was up and running in about fifteen minutes. It is a very easy fix and I hope the worst doesn't happen to someone else's machine.
