Attention contractors and serious hobbyist

I wasn't sure where to post this since it really is directed to those of all trades and hobbyists. I am a frequent ebay shopper and a seriously frugal bargain hunter. Although I work in security for corrections, I split my duties as a stationary fireman at our boiler house so I am around industrial equipment quite a bit in both settings. I have a favorite seller on ebay that sells lots of everything but many items specific to HVAC, plumbing, steam fitting, hydraulics, electrical, automotive, heavy equipment, ag machinery, etc. I have shared this w/ a few TBN members in the past but while doing my regular search this AM saw the usual valves and electric motors that are so often there for nothing ($$) and decided it's time to share it with everyone. There has to be a TBN member needing a new High efficiency 20 HP motor for $29.00? If not, these's someone here who can resell it for $1500 profit. They are a freight recovery company and a LOT of their items are sold at no reserve. I consider them a seller to peruse, rather than to go to for something specific.... you never know what they will have. Commonly though, very expensive industrial items such as large pump motors (20-40 hp ), Spence type, OS&Y, large butterfly,gate,check,etc valves go for nothing. Fan motors are very common. Hydraulic valves, cylinders, motors and pumps are common. Electrical breakers. Deere, Kubota, Agco, CNH, Cat, Detroit, Ford, Chevy, Cummings, etc parts are there all the time. Lathe and mill items ( not so cheap all the time). Industrial slings, chain, hooks. Engines, Motors, automotive parts, atv parts, motorcycle parts .......you never know but I have bought a ton from them and they are great to deal with and you can get things for pennies on the dollar. You can look item by item or do generic searches (recommended).
The store name is National Product Sales National Product Sales items - Get great deals on Industrial, Electronics items on eBay Stores! and I will usually do a search once or twice a week with the items I'm interested in, in parentheses and separated by commas. Here is an example of a NPS store search that I do: (deere,kubota,agco,cnh,hydraulic,valve,motor, engine,mill,lathe,tractor,chain,hook,diesel,tool) Just thought I'd pass this along. As with any internet shopping, shipping can make or break a bargain but a $1500 valve or motor purchased and shipped for $150 is still a good deal and they are on there quite often.

Hope you win your item. I have some bids in on several items that the search I posted produced. For my interests, that search or a similar one can literally produce an endless supply of very reasonably priced auctions I could win every week.....but good grief, you have to stop somewhere. BTW...NPS does offer a really good combined shipping option ( pay the highest shipping and other qualified items are only $2 each).

Obviously not everything sells cheap but they are an arbitrage buyers heaven. I would bet an industrial supply wholesaler or resellers of different types in the SLC area could make a fortune by buying from them and doing local pick up then reselling the items.

GT2..you obviously ebay, do you use one of the snipe programs? I use Gixen....it's free and reliable and as long as my bid is on top....I'm going to win. No watching, no early bidding/ driving bids up, no last second stress or emotional bidding...I love it. If you don't use a snipe program, give it a try, you'll love it.
