What's not shown is that the top of the tubular bracket is a square flange with 4 holes (about 3" square). It would make a fine mount for your toolbox.
You'll probably want to space the toolbox away from the tractor so you don't hit the hood when you open the box. I'd make a support for the box out of 3/4" plywood & bolt the box to that. Also the tool box is going to be cantilevered towards the front of the tractor, you may want to try to fabricate a brace to triangulate it. Depends on how many tools you want to carry.
In any case, show us some pics when you are done.
