ATV900 new style lever and quick stop set-up/

I must have missed this one. What is a new style lever.
On another note I got used to the stopping that was talked about in the beginning back in Nov. or so. Some liked it some hated it. Personally I wouldn't give mine back or change over. I thought there was some talk of having it adjustable. I like the idea myself. I park in the garage in from of the truck and if it didn't do its sudden stop I would have hit the wall many times. It makes sense, but everyone has a different style. Kenta

All of the RTV's under S/N ~24000 stop quickly... after that they are much less predictable and dont stop as quickly without forceful brake usage. It isnt really a lever, but a shock mounted in a different style than the original that slows the machine from coming back to an idle as quickly when you release the gas petal. I've been talking to Kubota about this alot and I'm hoping I have enough of the guys on my side to either change it back or atleast offer a kit to revert new units to the older style mechanism.

My guess is they will come up with something great that is adjustable (atleast somewhat) eventually, they are great engineers. All I can do it put pressure on them to try to convince them to get on it /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks for the reply. There are fans of the old system then. Kubota is a good company. I have bought 8 tractors from them since 1980. Kenta
