Auction Prices Today Nov 2, 2013 (Massachusetts Auction)

Just thought I'd post some auction prices for some implements at an auction I went to today. Some of it seemed pricey. I'm curious to see what you all think.

There was a bunch more, but I didn't quite catch all of the sales.

I went there with open mind and came home with a truck bed full of planters and a tractor in tow for my neighbor. He joined the Kubota family

Those prices are similar to what I see hear. Was at an auction today where a rusted but undented Howse 7 foot cutter went for $400. I bought a york rake 6 foot - rather bent tho - for $100. Straightened it and it's fine now. Interestingly, I've seen tractors go for lower prices at auctions than I would have thought... Good ones that run well. A friend recently bought an old 35 hp Kubota with a few thousand hours and a FEL, a 5 foot cutter, a 5 foot tiller, double bottom plow, a potato plow, a LD back blade and some other implements for $3,500. It runs beautifully and he is quite pleased.

Wow. Sounds like your friend got his money's worth in implements.

Generally speaking tractor prices were as follows (no implements)

L245 Kubota $1000. (My neighbors)
JD 2wd probably 40hp or better but needed work $3900
Heston 4wd 65hp or better $7900
Small Ford similar in size to the L245 $3000

Overall the tractor prices seemed pretty good.

This was in Ohio, 2011 Landpride Landscape rake- 84 inches wide and tan in color. This is a slightly used piece of equipment; only used a couple of times. This has a 3 point hitch hook up, dual greasable wheels. This landscape rake turns and swings in multiple directions. Went for 700.00$ a 3584
