From what I can see in that picture, the only way to identify that car as an Audi A3 is if they found the badge in the debris.
An acquaintance in Canada is originally from Slovakia, and told me that under the Commies, they had a saying that goes like this, "If you don't steal, you steal from your family."
This is out of topic but here it goes.
That is not exactly correct. We didn't steel from people but only from government. Otherwise you couldn't live. There was a deficit even of such mundane items as laundry detergents or toilet paper.
So here is a story why people despite all that used to be so happy under Commies:
Your friend called and told you that they got Italian shoes to come and grab some before they will be gone. So you run out of work and grabbed first pair you could get your hands on and you were happy that you got some.
Some time later another friend called and told you that they got export sofas to come and get one. You left work and grabbed first sofa you could get your hand on and you were happy that you got one.
Year or so later another friend called and told you that they got automatic washing machines to come and get one. You left work and grabbed first washing machine you could get your hand on and you were happy that you got one.
Then you got your color TV, furniture etc and you were very happy that you got all that.
So you were home sitting on your export sofa, watching your color TV while the washing machine was washing your clothes when somebody rang the door bell. There were two strange guys asking are you Novak? No no I am not Novak, he lives across the hallway. And you were happy again that they didn't come to arrest you but your neighbor.
Simply life was never ending happiness.
And here is why people in the US must have hard time to be happy:
A guy from CR immigrated to the US. Since he needed a TV he went to Best Buy but couldn't decide which is the best. It just gave him a headache. So he went home to think about that suffering sleepless night. Nevertheless few days later went back to BB and decided just pick one TV and buy it. So he did. But then he was afraid to come back to BB because it could be five buck cheaper and it would make him really mad.
My wife (born American) still doesn't believe that we didn't have word for shopping in our vocabulary. We used a terms something like chase after or search for. It is impossible to translate because such activity is unknown in the Western world.
Since many needed things were not sold at all you have to take them from the government. Since government owned everything in the country we used to say it was not really stealing but merely moving the item to another place.
So the correct saying is: "If you don't steal from
government you are stealing from your family."
