the light dont do jack for you. if your backblading or using a rear blower your not looking at that dash till you hit the bottom of the drive or if your realy lucky about half way when you notice the resistance. buzzer+gear ftw. it would be easy to do on my kioti. there is a little gromit? that covers the shift lever hole. put 2 contacts 1 at f&r then put the other contact on the gromit so that when its moved out of neutral it will hit one of those points. you could also do it so once the neutral contact is broken the lack of a path causes a beep.
Audible alarm for parking brake???

Even if you're going to be doing work in reverse, don't you first start out sitting in the seat looking at the dash? To each his own, I just don't like things beeping at me. You could mount another blinky light on the roll bar in case the brake's still on when you turn around...
not while snowblowing jim. I might glance at the fel to see how much snow is under it but thats about it. I hop out change the direction of the chute hop back in and am already working most of the controals by the time by but hits the seat. im turned around for about 2 hrs during a snow storm. about 15 min i will be going back and forth while i scrape the parking lot.
