Anyone have the flat piece break off the rod that holds the end of the PTO shaft level at the mower end? Took the deck off and tried to put it back on and it jammed up under the tractor, glad I had the FEL on so I could lift the front of the tractor to let it fall out and back off of it. Called JD dealer and the rod is not available separately any more, you have to buy both lift arms and the rod and two plates that go around the shaft and bolt to the PTO shaft bearing, which tell me they have had problems with it and changed something. The cost to replace is in the range of roughly $200. Only 260 hrs on the unit. Trying to get the dealer to get JD to pay for it, or I'm going to be a daily caller to JD offices.
Wishing I had my Kubota BX24 back, much better quality.
PS, Dealer just called and it's still under warranty for 38 more days according to JD, I thought it was out last Sept.

Click on Pix to enlarge -- Old arms are 3 parts New is all welded and larger rod all the way.
