Hundreds of can sizes, brands and fragrances. Have a "Country Vet" brand at work to keep the flying and creeping bugs controlled in large garage. Insecticide-summer, fragrance-winter. Very happy with it except it should be adjustable on the time. Nope, every 15 minutes. Wintertime spraying of fragrance is too much. Anybody out there have a brand that adjusts, quality and not crazy expensive? Can you use other brands of stuff? Thanks.

Perhaps this one is better than the Country Vet style: https://www.smartjan.com/components...-Room-Deodorant-7OZ-Lemon-Technical-Sheet.pdf

In summers in the late 50's we used to notice a kind of sweet smell at night which I was told was insecticide dust put on the cotton plants after dew had fallen so it would stick. The smell was kind of pleasant to me. Later.on when mechanical pickers became more widely used, the defoliant that was sprayed on the plants smelled awful, probably better than a skunk but it was still very bad. If I had to pick one of those smells to call a fragrance, it would be the dust.

Fido,
You have my apologies for not providing any useful informatiom and thanks for the opportunity to tell my story.

FWIW: A decade or so, I looked for one with an adjustable timer and didn't find one.

We used them for a few years when we moved here, and then quit using insecticides. The first year was a little worse, but all the subsequent years have had many fewer flies and mosquitos, as more barn swallows and bats moved in. Yellow jackets were never affected by the sprays and are still a challenge around the house...

All the best,

Peter
