Automobile insurance billing question..

UPDATE - Called my agent on Tuesday and basically State Farm should have sent me a bill in Late Nov/Early Dec - but for whatever reason they didnt..

The agent said they had been upgrading/updating their billing system, but couldnt say for sure what happened..

Seems computers and centralization is fine when it all works and can turn into a nightmare when it doesn't.

insurance companies are getting lax. at work, the us mail delayed our health insurance payment we sent in on 1-27.. usps delayed it till 2-7.. our health ins ( group ) sent out cancel notices effective 2-1 and we didn't get them till yesterday, 2-8, stating the effective calcenl date was 2-1 and no claims after that would be honored.

We got it fixed of course and re-instated.. but it took jumping thru some flaming hoops while someone cracked a whip to do so.

the ins co's are getting away with murder right now...

i keep a po box for jsut such a reason. important bills and whatnot go to the po box.

Same here, I use my PO as my legal address, even have it listed on my Drivers License etc, never use my physical address for anything except UPS packages.

here, they make us put the physical on the dl, even if the po is listed as 2nd..e tc. all my bills go tot he pobox though..
