I want to install some aux work lights on the rops and was wondering where the best location to take power from. Is there a place on the fuse block that can be used?
Where do most people connect to.
Thanks....

To the right and rear of the operators seat. There are 2 plug ins that are for acc. I mounted one light to the rear and 2 forward facing to the rops stationary bolts with "L" bracket.

Oops, I guess I mounted them in the blank hole, just uses washers to take up space. The rear one just mounts to existing bolt.

I wish the photos from the above post would show in this post since this is a good place to mount aux lights for rear work. Others should take a look at this nice installation.

Nice install indeed!
I never noticed the aux power outputs before. Guess I was too busy using it to look around. It sure is easy on fuel compared to my other iron.
It also seems to be getting a bit more power after 35 hours or I have just learned how to use the hydro better.
I was pretty impressed with the performace of it with the sq160 bushhog when I cleared a 4 achre field of 8' apple and cherry trees last weekend.
Thanks...

blagg---not kidding; it is just a nice clean-looking install. I am going to take my rear light off the ROPS and install like yours. I think visibility will be better with fewer shadows.

Questions for the Grand L owners who have installed work lights:

1). Any body know what the nut on the ROPS is for, as shown in the attached picture? I have been tempted to install my 3 x 5 traps there, although Blagg's install on the ROPS hing bolt looks like it may be even better.

2). Three plug-ins under right side of operator's seat, are these for the work lights (10 amp fuse labeled "work light") , or are they for trailer lights as someone from an earlier thread had suggested?

I will be installing two forward trapezoidal 55 watt halogens, and one rear 55 watt flood and from what I understand they will draw close to 14 amps, too much for the 10 amp work light circuit, so it looks like I'll have to go to the battery to draw power. Why couldn't Kubota have done it right, at the factory??
