Attached is a photo from my 1910 manual showing the location of the auxiliary service port. The instructions say that this can be used to supply oil to an aux cylinder when the lift control lever is placed in the notch in the upper part of the quadrant.
This description is pretty vague. Can this port be piped to a control valve or to an attachment? Where is the return?

I don't have that model.. but am thinking it is for a SA type application.. originally.. like a lift axle on a disc or mower.. etc.

I guess you could plumb in an OC type valve.. with 1 or 2 SA or DA ports on them.. then plumb a return line back to the sump.. ( many people take the cap off.. and drill and tap it for a hose barb fitting and then run the low pressure return to sump line to that.)
