Hi! I have a 68 Ford 2000 3 cyl, live pto,6 speed.Under the seat is an auxiliary services control valve.Do these operate ok for a remote cylinder? I found out from this site that the pump capacity is small for something like a wood splitter(I have a gas one)but would I be able to operate a 3ph grapple that I would like to copy from a design found on the net? Does anyone have a picture of this valve with the hoses connected? It seems some elbow connectors & such would be used to direct the hoses back to the cylinder? Are there any other suggestions of what else I might operate with this valve? Thanks for any information you may be able to provide!!

Not really. You would be far better served to replace the Aux. Services vavle with a remote control valve to be able to control a double-acting remote cylinder to operate the grapple. The aux svcs valve enables you to direct hydraulic pressure as follows:
Closed (pushed full in) - to the 3-pt lift cylinder only. Mid Position - lift cylinder and aux. svcs. port. Full out - to aux svcs port only. This will only operate a single-acting cylinder.

Hi! Thanks for your reply.I was mainly interested if the operation of this valve would be useful or more of a pain. I'll look into another valve like you mentioned. Thanks again for your time!! Don
