Well I won't go into detail here because my other thread explains my situation pretty well. Other than that, I like older/antique tractors. I would take one over a brand new tractor any day, especially if you consider price. If it runs and has a ROPS (original or not), I'd probably buy it if I could. If I was looking to buy a new tractor right now it would almost certainly be a Kubota.
