PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH YOUR SPECIFIC MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBER, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR POWER STEERING. EXAMPLE: IF YOU LOOSE POWER STEERING UNDER HOT CONDITIONS WHILE MOWING. ALSO INCLUDE INFORMATION AS TO WHICH GEAR RANGE YOU ARE IN, OR ANY OTHER SPECIFIC DETAILS.
WE ARE UNDERGOING TESTS TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. YOUR PARTCIPATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Not to offend any attorneys, but why does this sound to me like a fishing expedition for some kind of class action suit??

Am I getting way to cynical or am I sniffing something here?

tractors2REPAIR,

There are several people here that might be interested if we knew how to contact you. Also would be nice to know who is undergoing test to solve the problem. Are you a dealer?

Ron:

Mine too! My tractor is in the ship right now having the retrofit done. Something about rerouting the return line farther away from the pickup tube in the center case or somesuch like that. Anyway, if this query has anything to do with this problem you and I have probably given all the information necessary. If there are others still on here I would suggest you give what information you can. I doubt you could get an Anthrax infection from putting up a post. The problem I had with Kubota was their refusal to admit a problem. If many more out there have the same problem there is a better chance all of the tractors will be fixed.

Like you said there is already a lot of information on this subject here on TBN. I have printed and sent this information to Kubota. There may be others that have this problem and have never posted here. It may help. But as others have said, an open request for information of this type needs to be asked for with more background. Being registered allows private messages to be sent. Many people do not like to post to an open forum.

If anybody does have this problem and has not reported it. Make sure your dealer reports it to the Kubota district office. Ask that it be forwarded to Field Service in California. If you feel your dealer does not understand or is not addressing your problem to your satisfaction. Call the district or California offices. The phone numbers and address's are on the back of your Operator's Manual

Glad to here your tractor is being repaired./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Hope the results are as good as mine have been./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Next summer will tell the story./w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif
