A guy I know has 3 Kubota's for sale. I'm looking for something primarily to do snow removal. I'm not very familiar with these and wonder
a. major differences between the models (pros and cons)
b. what's a good price (which would be the best deal)
c. availability of attachments (ie. loader/snow blower/back blade for snow removal)

Any input would be helpful. Below are the specs (all are 4wd diesels with no attachments/implements)

Model: B1750
Transmission: Manual
Hrs: 1432
Asking Price: $2000

Model: B1750
Transmission: Manual
Hrs: 2212
Asking Price: $2000

Model: B7200
Transmission: Hydrostatic
Hrs: ~704
Asking Price: $2000

They all sound high for just a tractor.

The B1750 have a 3 cylinder engine. 56.6ci
20hp 15pto hp. They were manufactured from 1988 until1996 the weight is shown as 1550 and they have a single speed pto in back.

The B7200 was manufactured from1983 until 1990. 3 cylinder engine 56.6 ci. 17hp 14 at pto
has a 2 speed rear pto and weight is listed as 1220
There would be little hope of finding dealers with new attachments for these machines from Kubota, but you could purchase a number of short line attachments I am sure. I do think Brown is right the price for this age of a machine is just a bit high. Add an attachment and maybe you have a good deal.

I'd be lookin at the lower hour B1750. Find yourself a nice used rear blower and take care of your snow problems. $2000 would be a pretty good price around here, as long as it was in decent condition.

I'm going to go take a look at them Friday to see what shape they're in but they were only used to pull wagons around a nursery so I'm thinking they shouldn't be too beat up.

I've seen one old yanmar 2 wheel drive go under 2000 at an auction. If those were 2wd tractors for 2000 I would agree if in good condition they were worth it. Add in 4wd and hydro on the 7200 and I would say it is a good deal. Check the listings at tractorhouse.

I have a B7200 but have a front end loader, Loaded tires, chains and +350 lbs of iron boted to the loader frame. Plows snow ok. It has enough power. I'd go with the B1750, as it weighs more.

I ended up buying all 3! I'm using one of the 1750's with a back blade to plow the foot of snow we got yesterday. The 7200 didn't have the 3 point hardware on the back or I probably would have used that. They're all a little different in that they have different sized and age tires on them and they have different hitching hardware on the back which was used to pull trailers around the nursery where I bought them. The one I'm using for the snow has shorter wider tires and gets pushed around by the deep snow. I'm guessing I need chains or need to switch to the taller narrower tires (they're all ag tires, just different sizes and tread depths.)

I'm planning on outfitting one of them for myself and my dad decided he "needs" one too (I'm avoiding mom right now :) ) Once I get them sorted and decided which one is left over I'm going to sell that one.

They all run great. The paint on the 7200 is pretty faded. Both 1750's are power steering. The seller gave me a spare fuel, air and oil filter for each and topped off the gas tanks for me. He had a manual for the 1750's but not for the 7200.

Anyone here tried putting a caplans.com loader on one of these?
