After MANY nights browsing other threads about different lighting options, I finally settled on a design that fit my needs & tractor. Here is a breakdown of what I did and some pics:

*As for the lights, my wife was kind enough to put a Tractor Supply gift card in my Christmas stocking. So, I used that to buy two 55W Halogens, a stake pocket to use as part of my mounting bracket, and all of the necessary hardware.

*I was able to find the hot wire at the back of my rig (above my 3pt and below my back right tail light). This was a HUGE time saver. From there, I ran my wire to my lights, switch, and ground. After much deliberation, I put my switch on the plastic fairing right below my seat. It allows for easy access, while keeping me from accidentally turning them on all of the time.

*As for running my wires, I decided to use these 3M zip tie things that my brother in law gave me. They do a nice job of keeping the wiring clean. The key was that I didn't have to drill into the ROPS (big no no), or zip tie completely around the ROPS.

Anyway, I think it turned out pretty well. I'm sure there are people that don't like everything I did, but I think it'll do me just fine. Now I'm ready for some heavy snow!

Bring on the SNOW. Great job on the lights. I like the location of your switch. I did my lights and then saw other install's and ideas that would have worked also. If the lights work for you then that is all that matters but it looks great.

Looks good to me!! I don't know if those stick on mounts will last though. You might end up using long ty wraps all the way around the rops. I like your bracket for the lights. I wish I hadn't drilled my Rops but I'm not worried. I had it at the local weld shop he said there is no way the Rops would fail. He should know as he certified for making rops.

I actually "borrowed" the bracket design from another poster. It's made from a stake body bracket and a piece of steel to match. They're painted to match the ROPS.
