Kubota B26
Hi all, my b26 is sitting out in the woods puking hydraulic oil out of the overflow tube behind the seat. It was running fine and on the way out the hydrstat got loud and it stopped moving. It was low, so I added fluid and it ran for a minute then started puking it out again. Please help I need to move this asap!

Was the fluid milky? Wonder if you have water in the fluid.

Fluid is crystal clear. I was able to limp it out of the woods and on to the trailer so at least it is no longer an emergency!

The only thing I can think of is it is pulling air from somewhere. Not sure I understand why it is spewing fluid out the vent though. Hopefully some of the other guys will chime in to help. Glad you got it out of the woods. Good luck!

I actually see a leak on the return line, so hopefully that is the case. Sucking air will certainly do it!

This is from an old memory but recently there have been posts by Kubota owners about a newly issued kit to better align the suction line.

Kit consisted of about 4 parts, one of which was a new rubber elbow and a pipe which better aligned the elbow.

I think this involved a B26

Here is the thread which has the kit part number

I picked it up this afternoon and installed it and viola! Back up and running! The new kit does not fit the frame perfectly like the original and it is kind of a "let's get the lowest iq person on the team to solve the problem" fix, but it works. I love the B26 and will be keeping it forever, so I am going to engineer a proper solution, there is no way this one will last 300 hours.

Glad you got it going. You should post pictures of it and maybe some of the folks here have some ideas for your fix.
