B26 stalls going forward or reverse

Still trying to fix all of the problems with my newly acquired 2013 B26. Tractor idled low and high very good but would stall in forward L, M or H and reverse. My problem was with the seat safety switch. It was just dangling under the seat completely wrapped with electrical tape to close the switch. Switch mount was broken. Mounted switch with small c-clamp in closed position and tractor now works great in F or R with reduced HST whine. Before checking seat switch, replaced fuel filter and cleaned bowl even though both were clean and checked wires going to forward/reverse pedal switch. On my Ford tractor, bad seat switch, tractor doesnt start. I now know that's Ford not Kubota.

Had that same problem with my B26, I had just finished with the back hoe and turn the seat around the switch lever failed to make up the switch and the tractor would not go. Also watch the starter switch when you turn the seat around my seat belt was hitting the plug on the starter switch and caused a loose connection so the tractor would not turn over and crank

Yes I did notice that it is easy to hit the starter switch with the seatbelt. Thanks for heads up about possible loose connection.

I agree that I need a WSM. Just haven't had a chance to get one. Hope they aren't too pricey. Have one for the Ford and is well used. Thanks Dave.
