I've searched the forum looking at the pump whine and seals blowing out and problems after filter and oil change. Wondering if anyone looked into putting a pump from lets say an L series? Maybe a little more GPM but nothing outrageous. Was looking at putting one size bigger cylinders on the boom of the loader. It will curl anything but won't pick it up. The curl cylinders are actually bigger than the lift cylinders. Just looking at options since mine whines and I haven't changed the fluids or filters yet. Trying to see what I'm getting into.

THANKS!

You check the pressure on your system yet? Its the PSI that lifts not the GPM ......... All the TLB 's are pretty strong machines...

I did. The limit is 2400psi from what the workshop manual states. I'm at 2200-2250 right now. I upgraded cylinders on a tractor before and it just runs quite slow... It will pick up anything I want and keep the tires still on the ground. It compares to lifting things with the B26. But the B26 speed is twice as fast. I was just getting feelers out there to see if it had been done. Or it was looked into and I could go from there before I start right from the beginning.

I just leave mine stock it works for me , You change the filter with a kubota hyd filter?

Filters and right oil? Kubota?
Aeration causes noise. Seep leaks on oil cooler? Early B26s had problems with a rubber elbow hose on the suction side of the pump. Lower right side of engine. Cracks in elbow caused air in-leakage aeration but little outward oil leakage. Just read this morning on another unrelated post of newer radiator hoses cracking on their interior sealing side. Metal pipe from the rear of the tractor wasn’t bent just right adding stress to that elbow also. Kubota has made updates to the metal pipe and rubber elbow. My buddy’s early B26 went thru several elbows until solving his issue. He said the last elbow was thicker and tougher. His would shoot hydraulic oil foam out the fill and dipstick ports when hot. My newer (2016) looked better aligned. Starting to get oil wet at the same ports after mowing so thinking about changing that rubber elbow hose at the 400hr service this summer.

All loaders have more breakout (curl) force than lift. Something has to be the weak point.

That suction elbow hose 32741-39160 $22.01. Just ordered one. Surprised the metal pipe is only $24.xx.

11B,
A couple of things to consider when looking at larger pump.
Inlet line size. Will the new pump starve or cavitate?
Valve sizes, will the valves handle the extra flow with out excess line losses.
Cooling capacity, will the cooler keep up with potential increased heat load?

I suspect that you can probably install a larger pump but please consider the above items before doing so.
