B2630 top link max length?

I seem to always have my top link at or near max length and since aquiring a box blade now want it even longer than it will go. My max length is approximately 22 inches center to center of pins. This brings me to two questions:

1) Where can I buy a longer top link that will fit? (Tractor supply one won't fit because the "ball" part that attaches to the tractor is too wide).

2) Did I get the incorrect top link with my tractor? (Fellow B2630 owners, how long is your top link at max length?)

I bought one years ago from TSC when I added Pat's because it added length to arms setting implements back further. I believe I may have beat the arms open a big with a small sledge to accept their longer arm/bigger ball or could grind ball rim off a fraction on the arm. Think others have done the grinding deal.

Thanks JT. I ground it down and got it on there. Only had to remove about a 16th from each side.

I would still like to hear top link max length from any B2630 or B3030 owners out there.

Thanks Inky but that is not the factory part I am refering to. That looks more like the one I got from Tractor Supply.

Any B2630 or B3030 owners willing to measure theirs for me? Purrrrty please?

I have a brand new OEM one for a BX25... I can measure that if you want...

Gotta warn you though... I won't be able to post the answer until next week

The top link on my B3030 measures 26-3/4" fully extended. You must have the wrong one.

OK, went to the barn to measure the length on my B2630 this beautiful morning, and I got about 26.5" from pin to pin at max extension. Seems you do have an incorrect one. If I were you, I'd check with the seller about getting the longer one free of charge. Otherwise, a local dealer, or call Messicks or Barlow to get one shipped, or the net dealer of your choice. Those extra inches can make a lot of difference, as in many things on this earth.

Thank you Toolguy and Hawkheart for taking the time to measure and post the info I needed to be sure I had the wrong top link for my tractor! I contacted the dealer and will be swaping for the correct part tonight after work. The information freely shared on this site is amazing. I owe you all another one.
