Still waiting for delivery of the B2650..... Hopefully next week at latest?

Anyways have been looking at some of the posts with debris grapples and think it is the way to go but realize that the B2650 will be limited on lifting.
So am wondering if a bucket grapple would be worth putting on or possibly go with a fork and grapple?

I will be doing some overall clean up in the trees and will be taking quite a few trees out as well. Moving dirt, landscaping, footings and foundation work as a start.
Also will probably put the machine to the test for limitations on weight as will be trying to pull trees out to mill up.
Any precautions on trying to do to much with it?

Input from anyone that has a similar machine and experience would be greatly appreciated.

I have your poor cousin, a 2620, that I use for pulling small stumps and dragging trees to my brush pile. The FEL is pretty good in pulling small stumps but you'll need to add weight to the rear as even with loaded tires I find I can lift the rear end very easily. If I install my BH then there is enough offset to keep all four tires on the ground. Also, remember to pull logs/trees by using the draw bar and keep the center of gravity low. I have a chain hook welded to the center top of the FEL buckets that I use to connect my chain to in order to pull the stumps. If a stump won't pull easily then I use my BH to dig it out rather than strain the FEL too much. Good luck ....you'll enjoy the 26 hp motor as it's just about bullet-proof and easy to maintain.....you also don't have to mess with the tier 4 stuff either.

The lifting power is somewhat surprising. I have a loaded ballast box and loaded R4's and a good bucket curl will pull a rear tire off the ground on occasion..... If you can find a lightweight grapple you'll be fine. I've been wanting one but have too many other attachments to buy first and not enough money LOL

I love the tractor. While it does have it's limitations (they all do) it has been very impressive.

Yes I will have the BH77 with loaded tires so hoping that will give me enough rear weight.
Most of the debris grapples I have seen are all heavy duty and will take at least half of the total weight out of the lift so was thinking pallet forks and grapple might be closest thing to it?
My only hesitation on bucket with grapple is the fact the sides of the bucket will in the way of anything long and I will have a lot of branches ect. to get rid of.

That is a great option, do or did you have one yourself? Just wondering how well it works?
Also like the SG06 as it will lift more with just being a little heavier. Sure a big difference of the 700+ lbs for the HD ones.

I have a landpride sg1060 on my B2650. It is very well built but it is a little heavy for the tractor. It works well for me I use it mainy for brush and small logs.

I have the SGC05. I doubt it will work with anything other than a BX, unless you have an adapter made. It is setup with the standard BX three pins, the center one being the dump/curl cylinder. It's also only 48" wide. Your will have to go with the SGC06 for sure.

It looks like the 06 is setup for the skid steer QA, so make sure you price that, if you don't have it already on your 2650.

For reference, my 05 has done everything I expected of it. It has the power to break 2" roots when hooked to my 23-horse BX, so you can probably expect better.

Yes I will have the QA for FEL.
Would forks and Grapple be an equivalent substitute for the debris grapple?
Just thinking then I would have ability to move lumber, anything on pallets, ect as opposed to just using more for logs, debris?
Will be fairly strapped since buying new and want to try and get the implement that will give me the most use?

I've been looking at upgrading to a B2650 to replace my BX24 with a LandPride 05 series grapple. I note that LandPride has now released a 06 series grapple which is in between the lighter 05 series and the heavier 10 series. The parts manual shows it is set up for a B2650 among other Kubota models (at least they make a specific 3rd function kit for the B2650-3350).
