I have a 2002 B2710 with about 700 hours. It has a Mitsubishi V1305 engine. It's been a great tractor until last summer when the fuel injection pump broke a spring. Put in a reman and it ran great all winter and spring, but in summer is started acting weird. Starts and runs great when it's cold, but as it warms up, starts losing power, more black smoke and eventually quits running. If I shut it off before it quits running, it won't restart. Turns slow, and refuses to start. Notice alternator voltage was dropping to about 10 volts, so replaced alternator and battery. No change.
My mechanic thinks it may be the injection pump (again) but he's thinking if it was that it would be that all the time, not just after it warms up.
Does this sound like something anyone has experienced with a Kubota 4 cylinder?
Thanks.
