Hey everyone I have the snowblower listed above and I need to replace the shear plate. Does anyone have any experience with this job? Any videos available out there. Thanks
I have a B2750 blower. Looking at the parts list for the B2782b I see many similarities. But I do not see a "shear plate" only shear bolts.
The auger bolts are easy to get to. The impeller shear bolt......not so much.
I have an access hole drilled in the impeller housing to better see the alignment, and to allow a long drift to get to the shaft for those times when the shear bolt doesn't want to just drop out.

I have attached a copy of the owners manual for this snowblower for you.
Single stage snow throwers are much easier to own and maintain.
The following is my opinion and only my opinion:
I wish these manufacturers would wake up and see this, of course
they will not admit that they build these pieces of junk to sell more
of them instead of a snow thrower that will last more than a lifetime.
