B2910HSD won\'t start
I have a 2002 B2910HSD with about 180 hrs on it. In the past couple of weeks, I have had a strange trouble that has me stumped...perhaps someone else has run into this. One two occasions, while digging dirt, with the FEL, to fill in around the yard, I have killed the engine. I guess I overloaded it, and it grunted and stopped. In the past, I just pushed in the clutch, and hit the key, and it starts right back up. On these two occasions, the tractor went dead and wouldn't start. The first time, I fooled with it for quite awhile, and finally got a tow rope and come-along to pull it back where I could get under it to look for a loose wire, etc. After pulling it back a couple of feet, It started right up. The second time, I pulled it back, and again, it started right up.
It looks like I have a safety/overload switch that may be going bad, but without a wiring diagram, heaven only knows which one, or where it is. Something detects an overload condition when I am moving forward under heavy load, and kills the ignition, yet just moving the tractor backwards a couple of feet restores the circuit. This is a real pain, that I would like to fix. Has anyone had a similiar trouble, and been able to figure it out? Also, does anyone know of a source for a Kubota 2910 service manual? I can't find any for this model on the web, and am waiting patiently for Kubota to answer an e-mail. If I had a real service manual with electrical wiring diagrams, I'm sure I could figure this one out. I basically hate to take anything to the dealer if I can fix it myself.
Thanks, in advance,
Don M.
