Hi, I've got a B3030 w/ Gearmore 5' HD rotary cutter. I've logged 127 hrs on it this year, most of those with the rotary cutter, and I've experienced no problems with the PTO engagement. As others have mentioned, if engaged at idle, it's smooth with no "jumpy" start. I did engage the PTO one time above idle to loosen a "stuck" blade on the cutter, and promptly broke the shear pin!
