B3030 hydraulic rattle

I have a B3030 with FEL and BH with about 30 hours on it. From the beginning when I stress the FEL or the BH like when I am applying downward pressure or lifting, I get this mechanical rattle like sound. I seems that something is not right but within the first week of owning it I took it back to the dealer and they said they couldn't get it to make the noise. It bothers me but I chose to ignore it. Last week I was doing some dirtwork for a friend and he ask what was going wrong with my tractor with it making such a terrible noise.

What can this be? Anyone else experience this? Should I wait for the 50 hour service to get it back to the dealer?

I bought a 2630 and believe I had the same thing. I added hydraulic fluid and the problem went away. I think even though it was within the proper range (lower end of scale), it would have been low if the tractor was on a slight slope. I added some 'till it was on the higher end of the range on the dipstick and now all is fine. I think the noise may have been the pump chattering.

By the way, I filled it with the backhoe in the normal travel position. This would have a couple of the rams fully extended so there will be plenty of fluid when operating.

Be careful not to overfill!!

no idea if this is you're problem but hought i'd mention, but mine rattles sometimes and its the legs on the fel that you pull down to hold the fel up if you would take it off the tractor.
