I just negotiated a deal today on a Kubota B3030, 60" MMM, and a Land Pride RBT1560 rear blade for $15,300 plus 6% state sales tax...no other fees. I guess I'm looking for confirmation that this pricing is a good deal...haven't taken delivery yet!!
It sounds in the ballpark to me. I've most recently gotten prices on an L3400 with FEL for about $1000 more, no mower, no rear blade. I have to wonder what you'll do if everyone here says the salesman saw you coming? Where are you, since there seem to be regional differences in prices?
I'm located in the Louisville, Kentucky area. Sure hope I don't hear that the saleman saw me coming though. Hope someone with price quotes on similar equipment could let me know...guess I would like to know either way.
I forgot to answer your question as to what I'd do if everyone said the salesman saw me coming!! I would expect the dealer to honor the deal he agreed to, so I think it is only right that the customer do the same. If I should learn that the salesman saw me coming though...I would hope it would at least make me a little wiser for the next major purchase!!
If you search back in this forum you will find a another post about B3030 pricing. Lots of replys. Personally, I think you did good. Nice tractor. I love mine.
I received a quote on a B3030 HST about a month ago. The price was $13,975.00 for just the tractor. Adding a 403 loader and 54" bucket brought the price up to $17,465.00.
Considering, my quote for the B3030, plus 1k for the mowing deck, and $300.00 for a rear blade, it sounds like the deal is fairly consistent with the quote I received.
If you want to check prices, go to the Kubota website, locate a couple of dealers in your region, and e-mail them asking for a quote on the exact tractor you are going to purchase. Try to be a specific as possible about the tractor and implements (HST, R4's ect. ect.), to facilitate an accurate quote from the other dealers. I did this when I was researching my recent purchase and out of five dealers I asked, four responded.
Thanks a lot...sorta new to forum! I checked out the discussion on the B3030 pricing and it helped out a lot. At least I feel somewhat satisfied with my deal now. Why is it when you ink the deal you so often second guess yourself?
Trooper,
Don't know who shot you the quote, or how much you have shopped.
You may want to check with Masters Equipment (Shelbyville) and Beards (Crestwood) before you actually buy, just to see what kind of prices they have. Beards usually has the better prices, but it depends on what you are looking for and may be closer to you.

B3030HSD-F w/R4 Tires
RCK60-30B Mid-Mount Mower
RBT1560 Land Pride 5' Rear Blade )</font>
I got the B3030HST with the FEL and he tossed in the rear ballast box...for $17,042 before sales tax...out the door total was $18,150
