B3030 Steering Wheel Vibration

My B3030 has excessive steering wheel and deck vibration. There was a bulletin out on this, and the dealer did the fix. It did absolutely no good. The tractor will put your hands to sleep in less than 1 hour.

Is there any way to get this looked at by a Kubota rep? I am going back to the dealer, but I don't think it will do any good. It appears that either the tractor was not assembled correctly or the shock isolation between the engine mount and the frame was not done correctly. I would like to have a Kubota Rep look at it side by side with another tractor that does not vibrate. Thanks in advance for any advice.

If the vibration is that bad, it could creat other problems later. see the dealer again, then take it further if need be. what actually was the Fix?

I read alot about this here, and is one of the reasons I went with the B-7800. Smooth as silk.

They replaced a "z" bracket in the steering column. Even the dealer said he didn't see how it would make a difference.

I have a B3030 and its never vibrated, use it with hoe and rotary cutter.
I was wondering when does it vibrate only with certain implement running?
if its with the midmount mower which i do not have, maybe thats the problem?

I have a B3030 and as far as I can tell I have no vibes. Just how bad is this vibe? I'm not saying it is totally vibe free like my truck but its not enough that I would think as abnormal. I hope they can fix it for you. Call the rep and bug him everyday!Dont be passive like I was with my FEL. It will get you no where.I would have him on the phone daily or till a new tractor arrives.I found it dont pay to be nice when it comes to something like this. The sqeaky wheel gets the grease.

Barnboy, the vibration is bad enough that you lose feeling in your hands in an hour of use. Also, the deck has the same vibration, so your feet get it too. I have contacted the dealer, and they said they would call Kubota and see what to do. I already have the recommended fix, and it didn't do squat. I anticipate a battle over this. The only way I will be able to prove my point is to put it side by side with another that doesnt' vibrate and have the rep feel it. That way I can pin him down. Don't know if this will be possible, but I am going to try to do it. If my dealer won't cooperate, I will find another that will. Its a great tractor that does everything I want it to do. But now I dread getting on it because of the vibration.

Mine buzzes a little at certain RPMs. It is very nice at idle and not bad at just under WOT which is where I mow. Some RPMs in between are OK and some are not. I wear gloves when I mow the lawn and that keeps my hands from tingling when I am done. The deck does not vibrate my feet. The 3PTH linkage buzzes a little at times as does the FEL joystick. I have a couple of bungee cords in strategic places that keep it to a minumum. This is my first CUT so I really have nothing to judge it against. Other than that it is an awsome machine.

If the mower deck is vibrating have you tried checking and balancing your blades?
