guys i have allready ordered my b3030 they have the tractor and loader but have to order the BH and sub frame kit. i got the quick attach front bucket and r4 tires but i am getting pretty nervous about some things and wondering if i should tell them nevermind.
i need the overall size of the tractor to get where i do most of my work. under trees and power lines, through 60" gates, haul it with a 1/2 ton, done some work real close to alot of homes ect..... i dont want 2 machines to do the same thing for alot of reasons which is why i chose this unit and $$$$$$
so w/ that
do you guys think the b3030 will be any more or less "tippy" on a hill than my bx23?
how big of a "brush hog" and box blade can i use ?
can you add lights to it w/o going out and getting a upgraded alternator?
do they all come with loaded tires or do you have to specify that? didnt think to ask the dealer.

thanks guys its 12 am and i cant sleep because im worried, lol

My comments are bolded

At least initially, it'll feel more tippy since you're sitting higher. Also, that backhoe will raise your tractor Center of Gravity, so you'll want to use extreme caution if you drive across a slope. Best bet, don't drive across slopes!

Your B3030 has 23 PTO HP. You can use a 60" rotary cutter with no problem. I don't have a box blade, but I'd guess a 60" box blade would be the best fit.

can you add lights to it w/o going out and getting a upgraded alternator?
This will depend upon your alternator amperage output. The Kubota site doesn't specify the output. I'd guess the standard altenator puts out 20 amperes. You should be able to add two 40W to 50W lamps

You've got to ask the dealer to load the tires (it'll cost more), however Kubota used to specify unloaded tires if you have a backhoe. Check with your dealer on this to confirm.

I guess you're going to use this machine in a landscaping business. Good luck to you!

I use 60" (5 ft) or greater implements on my B2710 which is basically the same size as a B3030. If I remember correctly, the outside rear tire width is 54" or so. You should always have implements that are at least as wide or wider than your wheel track.

Depends on how many lights and their wattage. The stock dynamo is 14 amps which, allowing for normal tractor electrical usage, you can put two 55w lights before you start to discharge the battery. I recommend that you purchase the upgrade at time of purchase (it's a dealer installed option) if you ever want to add any significant lighting or other electrical devices. It's a relatively cheap option (less than $200) and worth every penny.

You must ask your dealer to do that for you and it will cost extra. Rim Guard is a great choice as it has the heaviest weight per gallon of fluid of anything else out there and is environmentally safe.
