Has anyone put RimGaurd in turf tires for the 3030 and do you know how much weight it added? I want to take my mounted tires to a dealer 90 minutes away and want to check weight before I trust my older 1/2 ton GMC.

I have Rimguard in my turfs........... I've never weighed them, but (like a fool) I removed them to install my wheel spacers. My honest guess is 500lbs. each. You won't have a problem hauling them in your truck..... but you'll hae a heck of a challenge getting them out of the truck and back onto your tractor. Get some help...... perhaps rolling them down a ramp to get them out of the truck?

Munchie: Go to the RimGuard site, click on "Documentation" and it will take you to their page that allows you look up your tire size and how many gallons it will take and the weight.

Thx for feedback. I am only transporting the tires to the Rim Gaurd place and back to my Kubota dealer where they will slug them back onto the tractor.

Just had Rimguard in B3030 turfs and the dealer and the web site both called for 31 Gal. per 13.6 X 16 turf tire so at 10.7 @ gal.= 331 per tire.

Here is a pretty decent chart with all tire sizes and wgt gained by filling them.

Liquid Tire Ballast

I just busted off a valve stem on my rear 12.4x16 R4 Tire (same as a 3030). I leaked out 20 gallons of Rim Guard. At 10 lbs per gallon it added 200 lbs to my tire weight.

Getting that pig on (before repair) and off my truck (350+ lbs?) and back on my tractor, by myself, was quite a job.
