B3350 RPM's

Well maybe I have an operator problem, but my 3350 will only get to 2550 RPM's...does this sound right, is there something I am doing wrong?

My B3030-a very similar tractor-tops out at 2500,which is PTO RPM.
Why do you feel the need for more RPM?
I would think your implements would run at the same speed as mine.

I read online that thelisted horsepower was at 2,800 rpm, just thought it was interesting that mine won't get to that rpm, I also thought it was Strange that to run the mower I have to have the throttle wide open?

According to the B2650/3350 brochure on the Kubota website, the rated RPM is 2500.

The speed of the PTO (front or rear) is linear with engine RPMs, there is a fixed gear in there. The gearing is chosen to yield the rated output speed very near the engine RPM that yields most power, so you can run the biggest implements you have enough power to run. You don't have to mow a WOT, but your blades will spin more slowly, and the quality of your cut may decline.

Most multi-blade deck mowers - lawn/garden tractors or SCUT/CUTs, require WFO to cut properly, at least in my experience.

My B7100 will get to 3,000 under no load. It drops to about 2,800 to even drive. It will maintain 2500 mowing tall, thick grass with a 60 inch finish mower. That is pretty good for 17 hp IMO.

According to my manual, the wot is 2500 rpms for both the 33 and 26.
