Hi first an intro first post here. We have a 7 acres hobby farm outside Williamsburg VA. Have some chickens goats on the way. Large garden mantained with my trusty 2554 Sabre.
For the tougher stuff the newly aquired B6100 with loader comes in.
Thats the one with the odd problem. I bought it 6 or so months ago, no first gear and the rest going. It is a manual. Previous owner said if you worked it hard it would blow oil out the blow by tube. I had the gearbox rebuilt and it ran great afterwords. Thought it would over heat trying to push that dying gearbox. It was real bad.
Now yesterday I was enjoying some seat time and ran it about an hour or so. Then noticed a trail of oil in the grass. Sure enough the bottom of the motor and front drive axle were soaked. I shut her down and called it a day.
Today went out, oil level is way up the dipstick and the gearbox is low on fluid.
I read once that a bad hydraulic pump could push fluid into the engine. And if your still reading(thanks) any thoughts? Rory
