Kubota B7100 HST
Hi All,
I recently bought a Kubota B7100 complete with a trencher and a backfill blade. Over time I mean to aquire other attachments such as a slasher, rotary hoe etc.
I have detached the trencher (one can only dig so many trenches) and realised that I have no three point hitch assembly except the top lift arms.
To buy all the necessary parts from the local Kubota dealer you must have to have a gold master card and a line of credit to a merchant bank, so I have decided to make a few parts myself out of parts from a company called Bare Co. web page and bits of steel stock.
The problem I have is that I don't have the measurements of the centre to centre length of the lower links and the position of the hole for the lift rods, and the length of the lift rods themselves.
I am hoping that one of the many gurus on this board can help me out with these measurements and/or drawings.

For what's it's worth, I have seen different style 3-point lift arms on various B7100s. The lift arms on newer B7100 hydrostats are straight while the lift arms on my older B7100 gear drive angled outward somewhat. Also, the stabilizer chains connected on the outside of the lift arms on some of the B7100s and connected on the inside on other B7100s.

For the benefit of those trying to help you, you might tell us whether your B7100 is a hydrostatic drive and the approximate year model (if you know it).

I have seen the 3-point lift arms for sale on Ebay before that supposedly fit Kubotas as well as other compact tractor. They appear to be somewhat mass produced new lift arms. I do not know anything about them, so I don't have any recommendation about them.

Good luck,
Kelvin

Thanks Kelvin,
Yes mine is a HST. I'm not sure of the year. In the parts list it shows the lower links as being nearly straight and the sway chains connect on the inside.
The installation manual for the trencher says that you can use 3 point linkage implements when the trencher is un hitched but this is not true.
Egon sent me some drawings and measurements and I see that the configuration on his tractor is a bit different than my parts list shows.
I am going to have to do a lot of work on the re-enforcement
plate on the back of the tractor before I can fit the setup on, so if anyone comes up with a different set of measurements I can check them out.
This plate is 3/4 and I have to cut out the areas indicated.
Thanks for taking an interest.
