I need to do something about the exhaust from my B7100. The exhaust comes straight out the muffler. I was thinking of adding an elbow and a straight piece to point it down some. What size is the pipe coming out of the muffler? What have you guys done to keep the exhaust out of your face?

Thanks

The exhaust on my B7100 faces forward (horizontally). I added and elbow that I made from a sink trap (chrome) to turn it slightly to the left so it doesn't soot up my FEL.

Note that the exhaust can be mounted vertically or horizontally.

Measure the exhaust outlet OD and get a muffler shop to bend you a piece to fit your needs.:D

I meant to do that last night, but was too tired after plowing for over an hour. I was curious if any knew the pipe OD so I could stop on my way home.

I'd rather turn it down than up. Turning up seems like the exhaust would be in my face more.

I mounted mine vertical, I added about 2 feet and one of those flapper deals, works great. I don't remember the OD, I will run out and check it in a bit.

My 6100 points straight up with a flapper on top. I have no complaints with it this way.
