B7100 hst 4wd & power steering

I have a 2wd B6100, which is a very similar machine, and I find mine easy to steer, which makes me ask the question: does the 4wd make it harder to steer?
Also, last winter, my first winter with this tractor, I noticed the first very cold day that I couldn't steer it all the way to the left. Come to find out the steering box was full of water, which froze. The dealer I bought it from left it outside all the time, which shouldn't matter, other than I think rain water drained down the post, past a probably faulty input shaft seal, and into the 'box.
I drained it, flushed it, and put in synthetic gear oil. Works perfect ever since.
I don't leave my tractor outside, only very rarely.

It is not the four wheel drive that builds character; it's the loader on the front. Without the loader they are very easy to steer.

Well said. I have found that on my B7300 w/o PS it is fairly easy to steer even with a load in the FEL. It's like a car w/o PS... at a stand still... it's very hard to turn. But with just a little movement it's much easier. One time I had a lot of dirt to spread and used the FEL to back drag a lot of it. After it was all done, I realized I put blisters on my hands! So from that time on... if I have a lot of turning to do I'll wear gloves.
