I have a strange thing happening with my B7100HST. I have had it for a couple months, and I am relativily sure this was not how it worked when I first got it. When you push down the pedal to go forward it reaches a point where it is stiff, and so somewhat easy to maintain this position. But, if you give it a little more pressure, it will move slightly further, make the tractor go faster, and 'lock' into position. This might be a nice 'feature' if there was a way to 'unlock' it without pressing down on the reverse pedal, which makes the tractor 'lerch' as it is actually receiving input to go in reverse.
This has become dangerous, as both me and my 12 year old son use the tractor near the edges of steep hills, and I am afraid that it is going to lock and send one of us over the edge before we can unlock it.
Is this normal operation? Is something wrong with the transmission or pedal? If this is normal, is there a better way to unlock it than pressing the reverse pedal?
