B7200 fan will not turn, water pump replacement procedures please

Hi everyone, I am pretty sure this is a bad water pump, but I need the community's opinion as I am not an expert.

Fan stopped turning, I loosened the fan belt and tried to turn it by hand, it turns real hard then gets easy to turn then hard again.

I assume I take the fan off then the water pump, or do I have to do extra work like remove the radiator?

I went out and looked at this again, it looks like I cannot remove the fan without removing the radiator, so my question is Can I unbolt the five water pump bolts and fan shroud and lift both straight up at the same time? or does the water pump have to go forward (only about 3/4 inch of room)

You might be able to, but I think there are only 4 bolts and 2 hoses to unhook and it lefts right out.

If in doubt pull the radiator and oil cooler. That doesn't take long and will really simplify pulling the pump.

Also gives you a chance to get a good external clean on the radiators.

I did the water pump on my B5200 and removing the radiator makes replacement much easier. I believe if my memory is correct there are also 2 pins with cotter pins underneath the radiator that hold it down onto rubber bushings.
