Kubota B7200HST 4x4
Hi All,

I'm relatively new to the Compact Tractor scene and have recently purchased a B7200 HST 4x4 with a few attachments. Included was a front quick hitch attachment for the snowblower and blade, but i was told it wasn't compatible with the mid mount mower and would need to be taken off to attach the mower. The guy i bought it from quickly walked me through the removal, but what he told me isn't making sense, and I really don't want to screw things up.

I've been searching the net for several hours and can't find anything about this, and I came across this site so figured i'd ask.

There's a plate that comes out of the front of the tractor that has 2 pins on either side. I was told to take off the retaining nut then remove the shim from each side. then at the back there's a pin held in with a retaining clip underneath the draw hitch. I know I also need to remove the bolt holding the onto the PTO.

I've removed the front pins and nothing happened. it's here that i decided to stop and look for help. I'll post some pictures when i can.

thanks

Having recently picked up a B7200HST myself, I am most interested in what the photos may show.!

It's difficult to tell anything via the verbal description. I'm quite certain Kubota did not make a front quick hitch , so it could be "anything". Who knows?

IMG_5590.JPG front view
IMG_5591.JPG front right side view. The silver "bolt" with the large nut on it & locking pin are what I was told to remove. You can also see the rail that runs the length of the tractor, 1 on either side.
IMG_5594.JPGwhere the rails terminate at the hitch. You can see the cross pin that holds them.
IMG_5593.JPGcross pin T handle that locks the rail. Just a cotter pin on the other side.

The photos show a lot of detail, but I can't really decipher how the entire assembly comes on and off.
I suppose it takes a "big picture". It's plane that the 3 point hitch lift arms are used to animate the front lift,
And the tow bar is used to take any thrust loads.

Look carefully for any mid tractor mounting points. You may need to lay on the ground and look up to do so. I bet the mountings will make sense from that angle.

With action rods back to both the draw bar and the 3pt. It is obvious that the mid mount mower would conflict with this front mount quick hitch. A mid mount mower needs those lift arms and the space any push frame to the draw bar might take.

I have no need of a mid mount mower, so the front quick hitch has my interest.
Thank you for taking the trouble to post the pictures.

Hey CalG,
The picture of the rear must be a little confusing, the rails only attache to the toe bar & doesn't tie into the 3pt at all. The 3pt has the tiller & brackets for the mid mower lift.
I've crawled underneath & there are no mounts anywhere other than the front & rear other then the PTO.
It's the front that's got me stumped how it attaches. I do believe it's a Kubota product as it appears to have come with the Kubota snowblower.

No problem with the pictures.

OK

I missed the 3pt "dis connection" ;-)

How does the hydraulic cylinder up front come free of the tractor parts?

I se NO connections to the power take off, PTO, those are rotational mechanisms.

The PTO connection is underneath. There's a long shaft that runs from the forward facing PTO roughly underneath the seat to the front of the tractor, just behind that receiver plate.

As for how it mounts up front, that's my issue ...& I've got a pretty good view of it .
