Tractor
@003 Kubota B7210HST
I'm new to the forum, live in New England. I just bought a 2003 Kubota B7210HST tractor with an LA402 loader an a 6' Curtis power angle plow. It also has a Curtis cab with a heater. The machine has a little over 800 hours, mostly due to mowing a 5 acre lawn. I have no lawn so I sold the mower deck.
I'm just wondering, I did some searches on here and Google before I bought it to get a feel for problems to look for but I didn't get much on the negative side so I went ahead with the purchase. I know, I should have done this before I bought it but I had to make a quick decision because it was a good deal and wasn't going to last.
I just signed up on this site so now I'm asking, is there anything about this machine I should look for or be worried about?
I had an older B1550 that I just sold because it just didn't have enough power for my needs. It was a great little machine and had less than 400 hours so it sold pretty quickly.
I only have an acre of land and mainly use it for snow removal, landscaping, and driveway repair.

How much did you pay for the tractor?

To TBN. You came to the right place to get answers.

Did you get the tractor from a dealer or from a private individual?

I payed 10K with 6' power angle plow and 60" mower. I sold the mower for $600. I bought off a widow. Her husband past away 2 years ago and he purchased the tractor brand new in 2003.
I hadn't been used in the past few years. I called the dealer where he purchased it and he told me it was last serviced in 2015 with 803 hours and it now has 833 hour. The only thing I had to do to it was two new front tires. So far I can tell it's way more powerful than my little B1550.

Is it a B2710? I have never heard of a 7210.

The only thing I've heard of on the B2x10 is some issues with the front hub flange breaking under heavy loader work. This was usually contractors who used their equipment pretty hard.

I know the replacment had a thicker cross section. Not sure if the later models had the thicker flange.

Sorry, that's my dyslexia kicking in. I was wondering why I didn't get many responses. :banghead:
