Tires B7400 turf tires

I have a new B7400, and I noticed in the Operator's manual, it says to mount the turf tires narrow for US models, but on non US models you can mount them wide.
Is there a difference between US and non US models.
I would like to mount them wide for a more stable ride.
Will this damage the tractor?

There is supposed to be. Thats how they keep the gray model Kubotas out of the US.
