B7500 Hst noise level

Well, I have put 7 hours on my new b7500 hst this weekend and like it very much. My 352 FEL works great with the float position a plus. I am wondering if the noise levels that I am experiencing are normal. They seem quite noticable when going up hill or on the level with a load. I've been operating bewtwwen 1500 and 1800 R.P.Ms. The more r.p.ms the less hst noise. I've been told by one owner that I am hearing normal noise levels but could use some more input. Appreciate any response. JETHRO

Sounds about right to me - tough to tell without actually listening, but the higher RPMs do seem to lessen the noise. Is the noise you hear just a whine or is there something else mixed in?

I didn't know the B7500 could use the 352 FEL - I thought it used either the 302 or 272.

Yes, it is just the same whine at different levels depending on how much I work the tractor. The 352 loader is all my dealer puts on the B series. It's better volume for light materials but you have to use some common sense on heavier materials and cut down overloading.

Sounds like it is just the typical whine and it will just take a few more hours of getting used to.

That's interesting about the loader and the first I've heard of that. I guess the guys with the B2710s and B2910s must not be too happy.

Wow, I didn't know the LA352 loader would work on the B7500. I'd like to see if it if you can take a picture.

There is a certain amount of "whine" that is normal with an HST. Just make sure you don't have the parking brake set. It'll whine louder if that's the case.
