I had inadvertently pushed the PTO lever forward and the tractor died.
When I turn the key to start position the light comes on but the starter does not engage.
It seems like a safety or kill switch has not reset not sure where they are beside the one on the PTO lever
The shaft spins freely so I know it is in neutral position
I checked the 5 fuses under the hood on the driver's side and all were good.

Move/Wiggle the PTO lever back and forth while you turn the ignition key on and see if the starter tries to spin.
Sometimes the safety switch does not connect and moving the lever a bit gets it to connect properly. Also be sure you are sitting in the seat when turning the key as there is probably a safety switch there also.
