I have had a problem develop over the last couple of weeks where my tractor will be running along fine and then it just wants to shutdown. I have been doing alot of mowing and bushogging and when this shutdown started to happen I would just push in the HST clutch pedal and this would keep the engine from shutting down. I figured that maybe the seat switch was acting up.
Then yesterday I had the boxblade on the tractor and it once again tried to shutdown while I was using the tractor. I pushed in the clutch pedal and the engine kept running so I ruled out the PTO/Seat switch.
It's not that the engine is stalling from being in an overloaded condition.... it just seems like some sort of safety switch is out of adjustment.
Is there someother safety switch I should be looking at to cause this shutdown problem?
